There will be a ride of honor Sept. 30, with a motorcycle escort accompanying the truck containing the tribute to North Branch Park, arriving at 3:45 p.m.

There will also be an opening ceremony Oct. 1, and a closing one Oct. 4.

The wall itself is an 80 percent replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. It is 370 feet in length and 8 feet tall at its apex, and contains every single name that is etched on the original.

The event is made possible through donations of partners, and anyone can still become a partner, with donations all tax deductible.

General partners are $2,000, colonel are $1,500, major are $1,000, captain are $500, lieutenant are $250 and sergeant are $100.

Partners will be recognized in the event program, on a group poster at a VIP reception, on the Bridgewater event page for the tribute, in a special edition newsletter from Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 452 and on the website.
