BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A trial park and ride service to New York City from Bridgewater is beginning Monday through Coach bus services.
The bus will depart from the Bridgewater Park & Ride Lot, at Milltown Road and Route 22, at 7 a.m. It will disembark at 42nd Street and 7th Avenue at 8:20 a.m., 42nd Street and 5th Avenue at 8:25 a.m., 42nd Street and 3rd Avenue at 8:30 a.m. and the United Nations at 8:35 a.m.
These times are for Mondays through Fridays.
Return buses from New York City will begin at 5:25 p.m., with subsequent stops at 42nd and 3rd, 42nd and 5th and 42nd and 7th. It is expected to return to Bridgewater at 7 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased on a first come first serve basis at www.commuterwiz.com.
Ticket prices are $7.25 for a half fare (senior citizens ages 62 and older, or disabled), $14.50 for a one-day ticket and $120 for a 10-trip ticket.
Free parking is available on a first come first serve basis at the township lot during the trial period.
