BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Two incumbents, one former member and one newcomer are all running in November's election to fill two open three-year seats representing Bridgewater on the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education.
Current incumbents Barry Walker and Lisa Weinstock are running to reclaim their seats for a second term each on the board of education.
Former board member Evan Lerner is running for another term after spending nine years on the board and losing his bid for re-election in 2014.
Newcomer Zachary Malek is also vying for a spot on the board of education.
For Raritan, the one spot representing the borough on the board of education is open, and incumbent Ann Marie Mead is the only candidate for the spot.
