BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Interim superintendent Dan Silvia announced that the district has not really had much of a change in its violence and vandalism incidents since the last report.

Last year, Silvia said, they had 38 reports of violence and vandalism, and this year there were 41.

“It is pretty much the exact same as last year, with one or two examples in a different direction,” he said.

In his semi-annual report, Silvia said there were 12 recorded incidents of violence, four of vandalism, six of weapons and 13 of substance abuse.

“We are on pace with where we were last year with regard to numbers,” he said.

“At this point, programs are working or at least maintaining behaviors and incidents in the school,” he added.
