BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education held its annual reorganization meeting Wednesday, swearing in two members and choosing this year's board president.
Sworn in for a second term was Barry Walker, who was elected in November's elections. Ann Marie Mead, who ran unopposed to represent Raritan on the board of education, was also sworn in for another term.
Zachary Malek, who won the second open seat on the board of education to represent Bridgewater, was not yet eligible to be sworn in because of information still being gathered as required for a new member. He is expected to be sworn in at a future meeting.
Former board member Lisa Weinstock did not run for re-election this year.
Board member Jill Gladstone was once again appointed to serve as board president, and board member Melanie Thiesse was chosen to serve as vice president for a second year.
"I look forward to another year of working with all of you," Gladstone said.
