BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Current board of education member Lisa Weinstock has withdrawn her name from the November ballot, and will not be running for another term.

Weinstock had initially filed a petition to run for a second term this year, but has now officially withdrawn. She will finish her term Dec. 31.

“I am no longer a candidate for the board of education because I am going to pursue other opportunities,” she said. “I believe I have made a difference to this district, relative to compliance, fiscal responsibility and policy.”
