BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Neshanic Station man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle crash on Route 22 East Nov. 29.

Bryan Bakunas, 41, was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to chemical testing of his breath, careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident.

Bakunas was released pending a court appearance.

Police made other arrests for driving while intoxicated and more at the end of November.

  • Madeline Reilly, 29, of Hillsborough, was arrested Nov. 20 for driving while intoxicated after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 West. Reilly was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain traffic lane and careless driving. She was released pending a court appearance.
  • Daniel Diettmann, 26, of Bound Brook, was arrested Nov. 29 for outstanding warrants. He was taken to Somerset County Jail.
  • Dharmesh Desai, 49, of Bridgewater, was arrested Nov. 30 at 4:50 p.m. for driving while intoxicated while in the Wegmans parking lot at the Bridgewater Towne Center. He was issued summonses for DWI and refusal to submit to chemical testing of his breath. Desai was released pending a court appearance.
  • John Abner Jr., 25, of Manville, was arrested Dec. 5 for outstanding warrants. He was taken to the Somerset County Jail.
