RARITAN, NJ - Two Raritan men were arrested after they used abusive language toward postal service employees at the Raritan Post Office Feb. 18, according to a release from Raritan Borough Police.

John Juhasz, 48, and James Juhasz, 46, were arrested following a report of unwanted persons at the post office.

According to police, they were called because of two men using abusive language. An investigation revealed that John Juhasz was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia, and James Juhasz had warrants for his arrest for driving while intoxicated from South Plainfield and a warrant for possession of a controlled dangerous substance from Pilesgrove Township.

Police made other arrests for driving while intoxicated and more in mid February, according to this week's police blotter.

  • Jason Horton, 29, of Bridgewater, was arrested Feb. 5 at 2:36 a.m. for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Old York Road. Officer Joshua Manzo investigated the incident.
  • Ismael Vazquez, 20, of Perth Amboy, was arrested Feb. 11 at 9:28 p.m. for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to turn over a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle stop on Route 202. He was taken to Somerset County Jail after it was discovered that he had many warrants for his arrest. Officer Timothy DeBerry investigated the incident.
  • Jael Cobo-Jaramillo, 23, of Ewing, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia Feb. 11 at 11:48 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Route 202. Officer Benjamin Griffin investigated the incident.
  • Alicia Harrington, 39, of North Carolina, was arrested Feb. 13 at 3:30 p.m. for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Officer Jacob Sniscak investigated the incident.
  • Michael Mooney, 26, of Raritan, was arrested Feb. 14 at 9:47 p.m. on West Somerset Street after officers discovered a warrant for his arrest out of Bound Brook Municipal Court for shoplifting. He was turned over to Bound Brook Police Department. Officer Nicholas DePiano investigated the incident.
  • Precious Ibe, 25, of Branchburg, was arrested Feb. 15 at 1:25 a.m. for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Old York Road. Griffin investigated the incident.
  • Tyler Minter, 20, of Bridgewater, was arrested Feb. 15 at 4:58 p.m. for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on First Avenue. Manzo investigated the incident.
  • Martin Cash, 29, of South Plainfield, was arrested Feb. 16 at 9:43 a.m for possession of a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Manzo investigated the incident.
  • Ebon Hodge, 31, of Irvington, was arrested Feb. 16 at 8:48 p.m. for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on First Street. Officer Evan Vacchiano investigated the incident.
