RARITAN, NJ - A Warren man was arrested Feb. 1 for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle violation, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Wayne Krause, 68, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and speeding after being pulled over on Route 22 West.

Krause was processed and released pending a court appearance.

Police made other arrests for driving while intoxicated and more over the last week.

  • Stephanie Lopes, 30, of Cranford, was arrested for driving while intoxicated Feb. 4 after she was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Adamsville Road. Lopes was also issued motor vehicle summonses for reckless driving and failure to maintain a traffic lane. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • An employee of Pardo Concrete and Slab of Newark NJ reported Feb. 8 that there was a theft of an item that was stored at 1940 Route 22 East between Feb. 6 and Feb. 8. According to the report, someone stole a 2016 red colored cement mixer valued at $3,000.
  • Daron Piech, 33, of Annandale was charged with shoplifting Feb. 8 after he was allegedly found with $101 worth of merchandise from Macy's at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Piech was processed and released pending a court appearance.
