50th Anniversary Spark! Gala

Bridgewater, N.J. (February 2020) – Visions and Pathways (visionsandpathways.org) is announcing their 50th Anniversary Spark! Gala: A Hopeful Future for Youth. The event will take place at the Bridgewater Marriott on June 11, 2020 at 6pm.

For the past five decades, Visions and Pathways has provided assistance and services to abused, neglected, homeless and runaway youth throughout New Jersey. Many of these young men and women are aging out of the foster care system with no safety net. Funds raised through the Spark! Gala allows the organization to continue its mission of support for this vulnerable population. Last year’s event raised $80,000.

Since 1970 the nonprofit organization has helped more than 10,000 teenagers and young adults by providing; temporary housing, street outreach and prevention services to combat the spread of the opioid epidemic and human trafficking. Visions and Pathways also offers comprehensive case management, counseling, financial literacy instruction, independent skills training and many other services.

I sleep safely at night because of Visions and Pathways,” said one resident in the Visions and Pathways program.

Gala festivities will include a cocktail hour, silent auction, dinner, and an awards ceremony. The 2020 Spark! honorees include: Atlantic Health (Corporate Partner) and Nikkia Miller-Blakes (Dedicated Volunteer). Sponsors include: AT&T, Flemington Car and Truck, Somerset Patriots, Clinton Honda, and Land Rover Princeton. Lisa A. Warren, a former Board member, will honor students with the 2020 Warren Scholarship, and the AT&T Pioneers will reward one student with the AT&T Pioneers Scholarship. Ty Stephens, a multi-talented and internationally recognized artist known for his cool, urban-tinged adult-contemporary sound based on Jazz, Funk and R&B, will be performing.
