JANUS/GPS Bereavement Support Group

The JANUS/GPS Bereavement Support Group will be holding a meeting at 7:30 p.m. with “Falling out of Grief,” a session with speaker Dr. Barbara Ronca, LCSW. She will discuss the delicate balance between life and death, and the fact that seasonal changes can effect those in a grief process and help them move forward. There will be a Q&A session, and time for general sharing. There is no fee to attend, but registration is requested by calling 908-218-9062. Anyone who has experienced a loss through death, separation/divorce, loss of job, health, relocation or grandparents who have lost access to their grandchildren should attend. The group meets at 1124 Route 202 South, Ste. A2, in Raritan.

Man Arrested for Shoplifting Hundreds of Dollars in Sunglasses, Bridgewater Police Say

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Fords man was arrested for shoplifting after being found with sunglasses from Sunglass Hut, at the Bridgewater Commons Mall, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Anthony C. Mateo, 19, was arrested Sept. 29 at 11:40 a.m. after he was found with two pairs of sunglasses valued at $346.
