NJ Audubon: The Wayrick Wildlife Art Gallery -- Wildlife Art: The Paintings of Linda Stockman

With a lifelong passion for painting, Linda Stockman creates detailed realistic portraits of animals and birds, conveying both their image and essence. Working primarily in oil and acrylic paints, she has created a body of work that exhibits the beauty of the animals in their natural habitats. A New Jersey native now residing in northeastern Pennsylvania, Linda studied art with several well known artists including famed illustrator Peter Caras at the duCret School of Art in Plainfield, NJ. She has won numerous awards in juried exhibitions in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania and has exhibited her work at several solo exhibitions.

The exhibition runs from September 1 to November 27, 2017. The Gallery is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9 to 5, Sundays noon to 5 and is closed on Mondays. Entry to the Gallery is free.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report of a theft of more than $2,000 from a vehicle parked at the Home Depot, in the Bridgewater Towne Center, according to a report.

A Hillsborough resident reported June 3 at about 5:58 p.m. that his vehicle had been burglarized while parked at the Home Depot. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. and 5:50 p.m.
