Suicide Bereavement Support Group

The John Santos Charitable Organization is holding its suicide bereavement support group from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Bridgewater Township Library, on Vogt Drive. Anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide is invited to attend the free support group and connect with other survivors. Sharing, discussing and talking about a loved one is a powerful coping skill and will help in the journey ahead. Man Arrested for Shoplifting Hundreds of Dollars in Sunglasses, Bridgewater Police Say

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Fords man was arrested for shoplifting after being found with sunglasses from Sunglass Hut, at the Bridgewater Commons Mall, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Anthony C. Mateo, 19, was arrested Sept. 29 at 11:40 a.m. after he was found with two pairs of sunglasses valued at $346.

Mateo was processed and released pending a court date.
