Winter Solstice

Christ Presbyterian Church, on Washington Valley Road, will hold a unique celebration and preparation for the Winter Solstice at the outdoor labyrinth. It will be lit with luminaries as a sign of light overcoming darkness in our world. Participants will be invited to walk the path by candlelight, sing and pray for light to come into the world. People of any faith are welcome.

This is meaningful for those celebrating Advent or Christmas. Guests are asked to dress warmly.

It is open to the public daily from dawn to dusk.

Raritan Police: Warren Man Arrested for DWI and More in Police Blotter

RARITAN, NJ - A Warren man was arrested Feb. 1 for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle violation, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Wayne Krause, 68, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and speeding after being pulled over on Route 22 West.

Krause was processed and released pending a court appearance.
