BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater-Raritan High School media students submitted four videos to the 2018-2019 Somerset County Teen Arts Festival, and two were chosen to move on to the 2018-2019 State Teen Arts Festival May 29 through May 31, in Trenton.

The first video selected was called "A Burning House," by Alex Lane, Parth Marathe, JC Rutigliano and Kyle VanLaningham.

The second was "An Idea," by Jack Berchoff.

In addition, students submitted three videos to the 2019 New Jersey High School Film Challenge, which encourages high school filmmakers to move outside their comfort zones and make movies under serious pressure. They had five days to create and submit a film based on a number of criteria.

One of the three BRHS videos won an award, with Lane, Marathe, Rutigliano and VanLaningham winning for Best VIsual Effects.
