BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater Creative Arts Committee has announced its 6th annual Call for Artists to exhibit their work in October and November.

According to a release, they are also looking for local businesses to volunteer time and culinary arts, as well as local artists to do demonstrations.

The artwork will then be on display in the halls of the Bridgewater Township Municipal Building.

The deadline for submission is Oct. 16, and the art exhibit will be on display Oct. 18 through Nov. 18. There will also be an artists reception at a to-be-determined date.

The committee is inviting residents of all talent and skill levels to participate in this 6th season of Talent in the Town, a showcase of both the visual and performing arts. The work to be displayed will represent residents of all skill level, age or background.

The visual art aspect is open to framed or matted 2-D media, including watercolor, acrylic, oil, photography, collage, mixed media and paper art related works. All work must be signed or watermarked, and dated on the front and not previously submitted to Talent in the Town.

Anyone can submit up to three pieces of work for the exhibit.

Artwork should be dropped off at the Bridgewater clerk's office either Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or  Oct. 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Artists must fill out a form online and print it, then securely attach it to each piece of artwork on the back. The form link is

After the exhibit, artwork must be picked up Nov. 20 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Work will be included from each artist on a first come first serve basis.
