BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township is confirming three new cases of COVID-19 as of 10 a.m. Monday, bringing the total to 192 confirmed cases.
The township also has 18 confirmed COVID-19 related deaths to date.
Raritan Borough stands at a total of 35 COVID-19 cases, as of April 13.
"The important thing to remember, within these numbers, there are recoveries," Raritan Mayor Zachary Bray said in a post on Facebook.
In addition, Bray said in the post that it is important to recognize Beverly Marce, a long-time Raritan resident and 25-year assistant at John F. Kennedy Primary School, who passed away from COVID-19 complications at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bridgewater.
"May she rest in peace as we keep her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers," he said in the post. "I remember Mrs. Marce from my time at JFK school, she was truly one of a kind."
