BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township is confirming 11 new cases of COVID-19 in town, and four more deaths related to the virus.
In total, there are now 215 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bridgewater Township, and 23 confirmed COVID-19 related deaths.
Bridgewater Township notes that some of these cases have since recovered, but specific numbers are not available. These numbers are current as of 10 a.m. Wednesday.
In Raritan Borough, they are reporting a total of 39 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the outbreak.
Raritan Mayor Zachary Bray noted in a statement on Facebook that with the testing facility opening at Raritan Valley Community College Friday, residents should be prepared for the number to continue to rise.
Raritan Borough also noted that for the safety of employees and the general public, grass will no longer be collected at the public works garage on Saturdays. Grass should be placed in bags or cans, and will be picked up by the Public Works Department on the same day as regular garbage pick up.
