BRIDGEWATER, NJ - As of 9:30 a.m. April 20, Bridgewater Township was reporting another nine confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the township.
There are now a total of 258 confirmed cases in Bridgewater Township, and 28 confirmed COVID-19 related deaths to date.
Over the weekend, in Raritan, the borough reported an additional five positive COVID-19 tests, for a total of 48 since the outbreak.
"Statewide, signs are pointing toward the curve flattening and potentially trending downward in the next coming weeks," Mayor Zachary Bray said on the Facebook page. "We need to dig in and continue to do our part to see this through to the end, whenever that may be."
"Opening up too early risks a second spike in cases," he added. "So while the signs are positive, we have to see sustained declines in numbers week after week."
