BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township is reporting an overall fewer number of cases in the township since Tuesday due to a cleaning of the data.

According to the township, there has fewer a drop in cases in total because of a cleaning of the data that has reassigned cases to their proper municipalities.

Because of that, the township is now reporting 404 confirmed cases in Bridgewater, as opposed to the previously reported 419.

As of Wednesday, there are now 15 fewer confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bridgewater Township. Of all the confirmed cases, 55.4 percent are female and 44.6 percent are confirmed to be male.

In addition, there are a total of 47 deaths in the township, with the range of 40 to 100. Of those who have died from the disease, two were under age 50; two were between the ages of 51 and 65; 13 were between the ages of 66 and 80; and 30 were over age 81.

As of Wednesday morning, Raritan Borough was reporting 83 cases, and five fatalities.

Somerset County as a whole is reporting 3,387 cases, and 311 fatalities.
