BRIDGEWATER, NJ - As of Tuesday, there were 17 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total in town to 387 confirmed cases.
Of that number, 55.4 percent are confirmed to be female and 44.6 percent are confirmed to be male.
Bridgewater Township is also confirming 37 COVID-19 related deaths to date, with the age range between 40 and 100 years old.
In the breakdown, according to the township, it is two people under the age of 50, two between ages 50 and 64, 11 between ages 65 and 79 and 22 over age 80.
In addition, on Monday, Bridgewater Township reported that there have been questions from residents about a spike in new cases on Sunday. The township explained that that was due in part because several senior care facilities in Bridgewater opted to test their entire populations in a single day over the weekend, and because of the opening of the RVCC testing center making tests more accessible for the general population.
