BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township is reporting an overall negative two confirmed cases of COVID-19, as of Monday morning, bringing the total to 497 cases.

Those negative increases in cases, the township said, occur sometimes as health officials work to verify residences of people who test positive.

According to the township, there were three additional cases over the weekend, and, taking into account the loss of two, brings the township to 497.

In addition, the township is reporting one additional fatality, bringing the total to 66, between the ages of 40 and 105. Of those, two were under the age of 50; five were between ages 50 and 64; 17 were between ages 65 and 79; and 42 were over age 80.

The township is also now reporting 316 self-reported recoveries of Bridgewater COVID cases. That is an increase from 299, which was reported Friday.
