RARITAN, NJ - The primary elections have been pushed back to July 7 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but candidate petitions for the Republican and Democratic nominations were due at the end of March.

In Raritan, there will be two full-term seats up for election on the borough council, as well as an unexpired term to fill a vacancy on council.

On the Republican side, Christine Torres and Kenneth DiGraziano are running for the two open full three-year terms on council.

Adele Goetsch is running for the unexpired term.

On the Democratic side, incumbent Pablo Orozco is running for one full three-year term, as is Melissa Harris.

Dianne Bautista is running for the unexpired term.

All candidates are running unopposed in the primaries, and will be on the ballot for the November elections.

There are no local elections in Bridgewater this year.
