Animal Shelter Holds 5K to Support Medical Care of Shelter Animals

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset Regional Animal Shelter held its Heart & Sole Shelter 5K Run/Walk at Duke Island Park Oct. 15, with proceeds going to the Cupid Fund where money is used for medical care of shelter animals.

The race was a sanctioned 5K, and it included vendors, raffle prizes, a Somerset County K9 demonstration, entertainment and more.
