BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Hamilton Primary School held its annual Valentine's for Vets program Jan. 24 for students to create Valentine's Day cards to send to veterans through Operation Shoebox.

The cards will be sent as part of care packages put together by Operation Shoebox, which collects donated items like candy, cookies, toothpaste, socks and more to send to soldiers overseas. 

The program at the school was started by a PTO mom, and has been held for more than five years.
