BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater resident Scott Hobbs is holding a food drive Saturday in the Meadow Road/Candlewick Lane/Steeplechase Lane area to benefit two local food banks that are in need.

Anyone interested in participating is asked to leave their items at the end of the driveway by 9 a.m., and Hobbs will pick them up and deliver them to the food bank. In addition, anyone who does not live in that area but wants to participate can leave items on the driveway of someone they know or at Hobbs's driveway.

The food items needed are tuna, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruits and vegetables, soup, pasta and macaroni and cheese. The non-food items needed are toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish detergent and diapers/wipes.

Anyone with questions or needing special arrangements to deliver items should call Hobbs at 908-295-9097 or email scott.hobbs@cbmoves.com.
