BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township is holding its Christmas tree drop-off program until Jan. 27.
Only real trees from Bridgewater residents will be accepted for drop-off, and all decorations must be removed from the tree.
Bridgewater Township Department of Public Works will chip the trees for use as mulch in township parks.
Residents can drop off trees in four different parks while they are open: Ardmaer Park, Cedarbrook Park, Chimney Rock Park and Thomae Park.
The Somerset County Parks Commission also has a drop-off program for real Christmas trees at North Branch Park, on Milltown Road.
