BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Resolutions for debt service savings, appraisal inspections, and even fireworks at select Somerset Patriots baseball games this summer were recently approved by Bridgewater’s governing body.
The Bridgewater Township Council unanimously ratified seven resolutions, including a contract to Appraisal Systems, Inc. for up to $59,460 to perform professional appraisal inspections and related services, in connection with Bridgewater Township's reassessment program.
The council also authorized a final change order that increased the price of an amended contract from $810,602 to $810,994, to Top Line Construction Corp., of Somerville, for the Garretson Road Improvement Project, from Easton Turnpike to Hill Lane. The contract/resolution, which also includes the release of a performance bond and acceptance of a maintenance bond, is being funded through Bridgewater Township’s 2018 capital fund.
Another resolution involved a change of corporate structure liquor license for Squire’s Corners Liquors, on Washington Valley Road in Martinsville. The council also approved fireworks displays at seven Somerset Patriots home games later this summer, June 29, July 12, July 13, July 26, July 27, Aug. 1 and Aug. 10, along with rain dates for each of those games.
