EAST AMWELL – The Garden Tractor Pull at the 2017 Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair had classes for adult men, adult women and young people. A father and his teen son from Milford both won their classes. And a Raritan Borough woman won hers.

In the 900-pound tractor class, first place went to Kenny Modica Jr. 13, of Milford, who with a Cub Cadet pulled the weighted sled 74 feet, 1 inch. Second went to Hunter Donaruma, 17, of Flemington, using a Cub Cadet to pull 72 feet, 9 inches. In third was Carter Wright, 12, of Stockton, also with a Cub Cadet 108 and going 60 feet, 9 inches.

Here are the 900-pound tractor adult men class results: first, Scott Rasile, Flemington, Wheel Horse, 60 feet, 3 inches; second, Steven Fillius, Mount Holly, Wheel Horse, 53 feet 1 inch; third, Wes Lambert, Phillipsburg, Cub Cadet 126, 51 feet, 10 inches

For the 1,000-pound tractor adult men: first, Scott Fillius, Mount Holly, Wheel Horse, 75 feet, 2 inches; second, Stephen Koehler, Stockton, Cub Cadet, 57 feet, 10 inches; third, Scott Rasile, Flemington, Cub Cadet, 56 feet even.

Among 1,100-pound tractor adult men, first, Ken Modica Sr., Milford, Cub 1050, 76 feet even; second, Rob Charles, Ringoes, Cub Cadet 128, 66 feet, 8 inches; third, Doug Brady, Flemington, Cub Cadet, 61 feet, 3 inches.

In the 900-pound tractor class for women, first went to Alexia Billhardt, Raritan, Cub Cadet, 63 feet, 5 inches; second, Audra Waisenpacker, Stockton, Cub Cadet 108, 42 feet, 6 inches; and third, Judy Lambert, Phillipsburg, Cub Cadet 128, 40 feet, 4 inches.

Bridgewater Police Investigating Report of $2K Worth of Tools Stolen from Car, According to Report

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report of a theft of more than $2,000 from a vehicle parked at the Home Depot, in the Bridgewater Towne Center, according to a report.

A Hillsborough resident reported June 3 at about 5:58 p.m. that his vehicle had been burglarized while parked at the Home Depot. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. and 5:50 p.m.
