BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a car while walking in the left eastbound lane of East Main Street early Thursday morning, according to a release from Bridgewater Township Police.
According to the report, Bridgewater police responded to East Main Street, between Morton Street and Chimney Rock Road at 3:10 a.m. Thursday to investigate a motor vehicle crash with a pedestrian hit.
The pedestrian, police said, was identified as Tracy Carreker, who was hit by a silver 2001 Volvo S60, driven by Michael DiMaria.
Carreker was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. DiMaria was treated for a minor injury at the scene.
The crash is still being investigated by the Bridgewater Township Police Department's Traffic Safety Bureau.
