RARITAN, NJ - The Raritan Borough Police Department is currently investigating a theft of a 2016 Mazda CX5 and other motor vehicle burglaries  that happened Feb. 14 between 2 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., according to a release from the police department.

The incidents, police said, took place on Thompson Street and Anderson Street, between the train tracks and Sherman Avenue, and additional cars in the 200 block of Sherman Avenue were also burglarized.

Police said all the vehicles were left unlocked.

Police are reminding residents to remove valuables from their vehicles and make sure they are looked.
