Raritan Police, Raritan Fire, Somerville Rescue Hosting National Night Out

RARITAN, NJ - The Raritan Police Department, Raritan Fire Department and Somerville Rescue Squad are celebrating National Night Out Aug. 1 with an event at Frelinghuysen Park.

The event will begin at 8:30 p.m.

Rain date will be Aug. 8.

Sign Up for E-News

The event will include a free movie showing of “Finding Dory” and refreshments, as well as see and touch rescue vehicles.

Guests are invited to bring a chair or blanket and join the fun.

Somerset Woman Arrested for Lord & Taylor Theft, Bridgewater Police Say

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Somerset woman was arrested for shoplifting Dec. 12 after being found with $394 worth of merchandise from Lord & Taylor, in the Bridgewater Commons Mall, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Symone Hogan-O'Connor, 28, was arrested for shoplifting and possession of marijuana.
