BRIDGEWATER, NJ -- The Bridgewater-Raritan boys soccer team has been awarded the fifth seed for the upcoming Somerset County Tournament.

The Panthers (3-5-1) receive a bye into the second round of the tournament. They will host the winner of this weekend's Manville-North Plainfield first-round game on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Gill-St. Bernard's was awarded the top seed, followed by (2) Hillsborough, (3) Pingry and (4) Bernards. Bridgewater-Raritan lost, 2-0, to Gill-St. Bernard's earlier this season.

The finals are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Torpey Complex.
