BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School boys baseball team won the CJJSAA league championship Wednesday, their first one.

The team fell short in last year's final game, but this year had a 7–0 win over Branchburg in the final game.

They finished the season with a record of 10–2–1, seeded No. 1 in the league with a 4–2 win over Basking Ridge. The also had an 8–0 semifinal win over Franklin Tuesday.

On the team were Ryan Benbem, Cole Cabatu, Stephen Colon, Jason Cozzi, Matt Fattore, Casey Farrell, Zach Halpin, Noah Mattheson, Matt Moore, Bryce Pantozzi, Nick Pellegrino, Danny Smith, Joe Spirra, Michael Taylor, Tim Travisano and Frankie Verano.

Coaches were Jeremy Marton and Michael Mackus.
