BRIDGEWATER, NJ -- Michael Pastor kicked a 33-yard field goal with 23 seconds left to give Bridgewater-Raritan a 16-15 football victory over Colonia on opening night Friday.

The victory avenged an opening night loss to Colonia last year, when the Patriots kicked a last-second field goal to get past the Panthers.

Bridgewater-Raritan took a 13-9 lead with 7:14 left in the fourth quarter on a 19-yard TD pass from Alex Fromberg to Miftar Hasanaj, but Colonia regained the lead, 15-13, on an 88-yard scoring play on third-and-long with 5:20 left.
