BRIDGEWATER, NJ -- The Bridgewater-Raritan football team rallied for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter for a 17-6 victory over Westfield Friday night.

Trailing, 6-3, going into the final period, the Panthers (4-3) took a 10-6 lead on Nick Vizzoni's 11-yard touchdown run and Michael Pastor's extra point. Later in the quarter, Alex Fromberg connected with junior wideout Miftar Hasanaj on a 40-yard TD pass followed by another Pastor PAT.

Westfield (4-2) opened a 6-0 lead on an 11-yard pass from Hank Shapiro to Griffin Rooney in the first quarter. Pastor's 23-yard field goal in the second quarter cut the Blue Devil lead to 6-3 before halftime.

Fromberg completed 14 of 24 passes for 157 yards and a TD. Brett MacMath led BRHS in rushing with 64 yards on 14 carries.

Hasanaj had four catched for 75 yards, and Tyler Tangolics also caught four passes for 43 yards.

Senior lineman Gerard Redden of Bridgewater made three sacks and Brady Kurdyla had two sacks for the Panthers.
