FRANKLIN, NJ -- The Bridgewater-Raritan girls basketball team turned in a solid defensive effort Tuesday night in a 47-39 loss to highly regarded Franklin on the road.

Danielle Orecchio scored 12 points to lead the Panthers (2-4), who trailed, 27-16, at halftime. Madison Bray and Corinne Nickel each had seven points for BRHS. Keona Schenck finished with 20 points for Franklin (4-2).
