TRENTON, NJ -- Trenton built a nine-point first-quarter lead and went on to a 54-48 girls basketball victory over Bridgewater-Raritan on Saturday.

Jackie Salvatore pumped in six 3-pointers and finished with 22 points for the Panthers (5-11), who outscored Trenton, 29-26, in the second half to make it close.

Maggie Ousouljoglou finished with 10 points and Madison Bray scored eight points for BRHS. Leianya Massenat had 27 points and 10 rebounds for Trenton (12-5).
