BRIDGEWATER, NJ -- The Bridgewater-Raritan girls soccer team, seeded second, is headed back to the Somerset County Tournament finals after defeating Rutgers Prep, 2-0, in the semifinal round on Wednesday.

The Panthers (11-5) will be seeking their third straight county championship when they match up against fourth-seeded Ridge Saturday at the Torpey Complex in Bridgewater. Bridgewater-Raritan defeated Ridge in the 2017 county final. Ridge had beaten BRHS in the 2015 final.

Allison Lowrey scored one goal and assisted on the other by Caitlin Dzuroska for the Panthers, who led, 1-0, at halftime. Annie Clapp had the assist on Dzuroska's goal.

Maggie Ousouljoglou made seven saves for Bridgewater-Raritan. Rutgers Prep (16-1), which came into the game undefeated, outshot BRHS, 7-5.
