CAMDEN, NJ – Starting this week Camden County will reduce the hours of operation at each of its COVID-19 testing due to a steady decline in demand and as testing has become more available from other providers.

“We will continue to offer these critical services to our residents (for) the duration of this crisis, however, in order to best utilize personnel and resources, we must constantly reevaluate the most effective way to run these facilities … tailoring our response to the existing demand for services,” said Commission Director Louis Cappelli Jr.

The county will cease testing at the Malandra Hall pop-up site in the city. Testing at Kipp Cooper Norcross Academy will be limited to Fridays only, and no longer be offered on Mondays. County officials say these sites have performed fewer than a dozen tests per week since opening on March 22.
