CAMDEN NJ – Acting County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer will host a virtual town hall on Wednesday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss changes the state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal has made to the "use-of-force" policy for law enforcement officers.

The state’s new use-of-force policy essentially mandates de-escalation training for all of New Jersey’s 38,000 law enforcement officers, and it calls for use-of-force to be used only as a last resort. More information about the policy is available at: www.njoag.gov/force/.

Wednesday’s virtual town hall will include an information session to learn more details about the new policy, how it differs from the old policy, and how it was revised taking into consideration input from the community.
