Camden, NJ—The Camden City School District [CCSD] will hold two hiring events next week for teachers, paraprofessionals and custodial staff.
On Wednesday, June 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the facilities warehouse, 901 S. 8th St., the school district will be holding interviews for substitute custodians. Those interested must have knowledge of modern cleaning methods, materials and equipment; experience in custodial related functions [preferred]; an ability to read and follow instructions found on supplies and equipment printed in English; and an ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform heavy duty tasks.
Applicants will have to pass required criminal background check, physical and provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal ability to work in the U.S. Those interested are asked to bring a copy of their most current resume.

On Saturday, June 16, CCSD will hold a teacher and paraprofessional job fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dr. Charles E. Brimm Medical Arts School, 1626 Copewood St. The school district will be interviewing positions in grades six through 12. Certification assistance will also be provided.
Those interviewing are asked to come prepared with a five to 10 minute demonstration lesson, along with several copies of their most up-to-date resumes. Interviews will be held on the spot.
