Man dead after being thrown from ATV

Camden, NJ—A 39-year-old man died Thursday night after being thrown from an ATV [all-terrain vehicle] he was operating, according to the Camden County Police Department [CCPD].

The accident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of State Street and River Road. The driver of the vehicle was thrown from the ATV on the State Street Bridge and sustained multiple severe injuries. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

CCPD officials have yet to release the name of the driver, until verification that immediate family has been notified.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, and no one else was injured.
