CAMDEN, NJ—The Camden County Police Department [CCPD] will join law enforcement agencies across the country Tuesday night and participate in National Night Out, a nationwide campaign that promotes community policing.

The CCPD will have its officers out at four different parks throughout the City of Camden to meet and mingle with the city’s residents. There will also be free prize giveaways and ice cream from Mister Softee.

Officers in the 1st District will be at Shelia Roberts Park, 6th and Washington streets, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Mister Softee will be there from 5  to 6 p.m.

Officers in the 2nd District will be at the Fairview Neighbors Association in Yorkship Square from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Mister Softee will be there from 7  to 8 p.m.

Officers in the 3rd District will be at Von Nieda Park, 29th Street and River Road, from 4 to 6 p.m. Mister Softee will be there from 4 to 5 p.m.

Officers in the 4th District will be at the Whitman Square Water Tower from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mister Softee will be there from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
