CAMDEN, NJ—PATCO will hold public outreach sessions this week on a project that will enhance the Ferry Avenue station in Camden, along with Lindenwold and Woodcrest stations.
The sessions will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Lindenwold station lobby on Wednesday, July 18; and in the Woodcrest station lobby on Thursday, July 19. An information session was also held at the Ferry Avenue station on Monday, July 16.
The sessions will include renderings and schematics of the potential station designs to share with PATCO customers. Project staff will also be available to answer questions.
According to PATCO, the goal of the project is to create “visually appealing” stations, both on the inside and outside. Potential design enhancements could be made to the stations’ parking lot entrances, landscaping, platforms, station layout and lighting.
The design phase is expected to begin this summer, and the construction phase in the winter of 2018/2019. Construction is expected to take 12 months.
