CAMDEN, NJ — A Camden man arrived at an area hospital at roughly 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday with a gunshot wound and died just after midnight Thursday, officials said.

He was later identified as Carl James, 19, of Camden. 

Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Joseph Wysocki say James was fatally shot late Wednesday evening but are still investigating the events that led to the incident.
