Camden, NJ—With a weather forecast calling for rain and thunderstorms all day, a number of events in the City of Camden scheduled to take place tomorrow, Saturday, June 2, have either been postponed or canceled.

The Waterfront Rally for the Fourth Annual National Gun Violence Awareness Day, scheduled to be held at Wiggins Waterfront Park, will be rescheduled, according to the Camden County Board of Freeholders.

“This event remains critically important and we will be rescheduling the rally as soon as we can coordinate with the various speakers and performers,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “We still encourage everyone to recognize National Gun Violence Awareness Day and to wear orange throughout the day in honor of Hadiya Pendleton and the other thousands of Americans lost to gun violence each year.”
