“Diversity has become a fundamental focus in the public sector as government agencies seek a workforce, which better reflects the diversity of the communities they serve,” said Deirdré L. Webster Cobb, Esq., Chair and Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey State Civil Service Commission. “New Jersey has a well-educated and well-trained population looking for opportunities to work and support their families here, and representatives who will be at the job fair want to offer a chance to explore openings.”

“A job is about more than taking home a paycheck. We have highly knowledgeable and well-qualified men and women who want the opportunity to use their skills to make positive contributions to society,” said event organizer, Denise Sharperson, Esq., Statewide Workforce Diversity and Inclusion Manager. “This public employer fairs will be a win-win for individuals looking for jobs and for employers looking for talent.”
