CAMDEN, NJ — Juniors, seniors and their parents will be able to take advantage of on-site experts at the Camden School’s District's Financial Aid Night & Family Dinner next Wednesday.
“Juniors and parents will begin [the] FAFSA process and meet with vocational program and college representatives. Seniors will complete FAFSA applications and create state required NJFAMS accounts,” school officials said in a statement.
The Feb. 5 event, which attendees need RSVP for by Friday, Jan. 31, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Creative Arts at Morgan Village Academy (990 Morgan Blvd).
The event will offer assistance in Spanish as well, members of the school board confirmed earlier in the week.
Anyone that is interested in attending should RSVP with a school counselor, senior seminar instructor, or college advisor.
Other services that will be offered include: applying for scholarships if you’re a senior and the chance to meet with financial aid representatives from local colleges and universities.
Parents of seniors are advised to bring 2018 tax returns. For more information visit www.camden.k12.nj.us.
