CAMDEN, NJ — Any drivers wary of finding a ticket under their windshield should note that street sweeping is back.
After taking a hiatus, the first full week of the street cleaning services will return to Camden next week.
As of March, streets are swept the first full week of the month, often breaking during colder winter months to account for salting of the roads or snow removal, when applicable.
An American Water spokesperson noted that the exact day of street sweeping during the first full week will vary from neighborhood to neighborhood.
Routes and sweeping times will also vary with a morning schedule (8 a.m. to noon), an afternoon schedule (noon to 4 p.m.) and a night schedule (3 a.m. to 7 a.m.).
There are also specified Fairview, Central Gateway, and Aquarium routes outlined.
The blocks, days and routes are available here.
